This is the new website for the British Rally Flying Club (BRFC), which is responsible for the promotion and day-to-day running of rally and precision flying competitions within the UK. The sport is represented on the international stage by the British Precision Pilot's Association (BPPA).

The British Rally Flying Club exists to promote high standards of airmanship, especially in VFR navigation and landing skills.

The number of airspace infringements is always of concern to the General Aviation community. The VFR navigation skills developed during the Private Pilots Licence (PPL) course are all too quickly forgotten as reliance is placed on a readily available GPS system. This can lead to a lack of situational awareness and potential problems should the GPS system fail.

It is also a well known fact that many new PPLs are lapsed within the first few years of completion. After the initial challenge of going solo, completing the PPL, then demonstarting their new skills by flying friends, family and work colleagues around the local area, there seems little left to do and interest wains.

Rally and Precision flying doesn't just hone your flying skills - it's fun and a great place to meet new pilots and their aeroplanes, make friends, fly to new airfields and provide new challenges. New members, flying and non-flying, are always welcome. By navigating here, you've taken your first step to becoming a better pilot and perhaps the next member of the British team!
